Braxton Shooting

Braxton has spent a good portion of each day of their vacation either reloading or shooting! It's been fun having something that both he and Steve enjoy doing together.

Steve built a nice, large shooting bench out back that they can use to shoot off of.

They even have a chronograph that measures how fast the bullet is going :) They are all set up!

Pappasitos

The kids have missed a few of our favorite places, including Pappasitos. It's our favorite Mexican restaurant! So we met Steve for lunch there today :)

We all ordered fajitas except Alisa

She got a huge plate of Nachos!

Family Time

We decided we had better make sure and take a photo of the entire family while everyone was here. We tried to get Sabre in the picture but she wasn't very cooperative :)

Steve and Braxton have colds and wanted some fresh squeezed orange juice. So Braxton peeled all the oranges while I juiced them :) I got the easier job!

Then GAME ON! Electronic monopoly :) Dallin kicked our butts!

We ended the evening with our Sunday family tradition of Steve making chocolate chip cookies :) Surprisingly, there was even a little dough left to bake after the boys had their fill of cookie dough!

Christmas Morning

It was SO much fun having my two oldest boys and Alisa home for Christmas! We spoiled them all :)

Christmas Stockings

Dallin's stocking had a snowboarder treat :) And both boys got Rudy's BBQ sauce!

Sabre didn't get a stocking but she was content hanging out with me.

Alisa got a . . .

Jewelry case that hangs on the wall - pretty cool!

I got a . . .
Small safe to keep my snake gun in :)

Dallin got a gift card to the Cheesecake Factory - his favorite!
But there was one stipulation that went with it - I get to go with him :)

New snowboarding goggles!

Family recipes on cards ready to put in her recipe binder :)

Braxton got a 1911 Ruger 45 caliber handgun! Too spoiled!
I guess it was his turn this year since we've given the other two boys guns previously.

More gifts of food for the hungry boy - a Chick Fil-A calendar with free food coupons :)

A trickle charger for his motorcycle battery
A fleece jacket

A mini camera tripod - just like the one I gave my sister :)

A new slim wallet

Steve took a selfie :) He got the Princess Bride movie from Braxton and Alisa - his favorite!

A KitchenAid blender for smoothies :)

A new screen protector for my camera. I also got a new macro lens!! Awesome!
Alisa's mom made her a bag. The liner was made from one of her
grandma's shirts which was a nice remembrance of her.

Godzilla movie for the movie girl :)
I got a great Christmas book from Braxton and Alisa :)
Alisa's mom made Braxton a nice scarf.
Braxton, modeling his new scarf :)
Alisa needed a new can opener :)
Steve's mom made me a Valentine's Day wall quilt. I LOVE it!!

Alisa bought herself some new shirts :)

Another movie for the movie girl!

Braxton and Alisa also gave me a CD. I need more music so that's great!
Braxton loves movies too! He and Alisa gave each other movies :)

Another movie . . .

And another one

Braxton and Alisa gave Dallin a movie as well :)

Alisa also gave Braxton a new PlayStation game.

Alisa got new boots :)

Steve's parents gave him a frame that shows his Priesthood line of authority.
That will be nice to have!

Steve got another movie from Braxton and Alisa :)

Dallin gave each of us a letter telling us how much he loves and appreciates us.
It was my favorite gift . . .

And it made me cry

Sabre has fallen in love with Dallin! She loves him almost as much as me!

Skyping with Quade

Since it's Christmas, Quade got to call us!! He called us using Skype so we could see and talk to him. His friend Michael joined us on the call :)

It was great talking to him! His companion is Ethiopian, from Canada. His companion fixes African food for Quade and he loves it :) He said British food isn't very good. He said he had some mincemeat pie but it was gross. The fish and chips are good, but they are so greasy that they make him sick. He gained some weight when he got there, but he's lost it again since he does so much walking.

Last week they had a baptism, so he was pretty excited about that! He sounded very upbeat and happy. I was so glad he's doing well!
